Born, raised and recently returned to Warwickshire, I grew up loving books, films, theatre and a succession of heartbreakers.  I went to university by the seaside in Bournemouth where I studied a degree in screenwriting for film and television.  After university I lived in the prettiest street in Peckham and worked in glittering Soho.  I also lived in Poland for a while, and while on extended holidays I worked at primary schools in Krakow, Nepal and on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. 

In 2007 I had a baby girl and in 2009 I had a baby boy.  Somewhere in between I got married in New York City. 

We now live in a small village house with a big attic where I write romantic fiction.  We don’t have much stuff as we spend all our money on holidays.  Our most recent purchase was a summer share in a vintage catamaran moored in the Greek Islands.  Roll on summer.
